Barringtons is proud to announce the expansion of our partnership with Leagues Club Australia, strengthening our shared commitment to supporting Australia’s registered clubs.

This next chapter builds on our longstanding relationship with Leagues Clubs Australia, combining our expertise to further support clubs through practical industry solutions, including Barringtons’ compliance, governance, and risk management services, alongside new industry-relevant, cost-effective and time-efficient director training programs. Designed specifically for the club industry, these practical education pathways support club directors, managers, and emerging leaders with the knowledge and capability to strengthen governance, meet their obligations, and lead successful clubs into the future.

Beyond director training, clubs can also continue to access Barringtons’ broader leadership development pathway, supporting emerging leaders, supervisors, managers and executives at every stage of their careers from Certificate IV to Graduate Diploma level.

“We are excited to continue working with Don, the Board and member clubs to support stronger governance, leadership, risk management and compliance capabilities across the industry. This is a partnership we have enjoyed for many years, and we are delighted to now include education as part of our sponsorship offering with Leagues Clubs Australia,” said Jared Barry, Barringtons Managing Director.

Whilst existing industry programs provide valuable professional development, our partnership offers a distinct advantage. Firstly, our Club Directors Training Program is club-specific, designed to address the unique needs, challenges and responsibilities of club directors. Through our Registered Training Organisation, participants can also complete nationally accredited units of competency and qualifications that lead to formal Vocational Education and Training (VET) credentials, providing recognised outcomes that extend beyond traditional professional development within the club industry.

Participants will have access to a range of valuable benefits, including:

  • Nationally recognised qualifications and units of competency
  • Recognition of Current Industry Knowledge (RCIK)
  • Continuing Professional Development (CPD) credit
  • Credit Transfer pathways into further study

By combining Leagues Club Australia’s industry expertise with Barringtons’ extensive experience across consulting, governance, compliance, training and education, this partnership reflects our shared commitment to developing capable leaders, strengthening organisations and promoting best practice across Australia’s registered club industry.

Guided by our commitment to Best People. Best Practice. Best Choice, we are helping clubs build a stronger, more sustainable future through quality education, governance and compliance.

We look forward to sharing further details in the coming weeks.
