We also have the Dilgry River running around the back of the property for 3 kms. this river was noted as being the cleanest river on the Australian main land and can be bathed in and drunk at all times of the year.

The kids can feed the chickens (collect eggs), ducks, geese, guinea pigs, rabbits, cows, goats, alpacas, horses, puppy pet dingo (Jesse) play some tennis day and night then jump in the salt water pool to cool off. There is a large hay barn with swings and a table tennis room.

The unique quality of this region is reflected in its listing as a World Heritage Area - the closest such area to Newcastle, and one accessible even to those with limited mobility. Barrington Tops is the habitat of an enormous diversity of plant and animal life being at the northern extremity of the range for many southern Australian species as well as the southernmost extent for many more tropical species. More than fifty plants and animals of the Barringtons are listed as rare, threatened or endangered.
