Spacious cedar cottages which accommodate a couple, have an open plan layout, are self-contained with a log fire, air conditioner, a well equipped kitchen and and a TV/DVD player. The bathroom has a two person Spa. The cabin's verandah with barbeque offers you the chance to unwind and enjoy the great bush scenery.
Our great location, a 2 1/2 hours drive north of Sydney(from the start of the F3 expressway) and even closer from Newcastle, the Central Coast and Nelson Bay. Maps and directions are provided. Dungog is 21 km south of Bluegums, on the main Brisbane line and we offer a pick up service from the railway station.
Swimming, tennis, fishing, bike riding on the estate and bush walking in nearby world heritage listed forests or Chichester Dam. You can also just unwind, soak in the fresh air & feed some of the wildlife from your veranda. For cyclists, Dungog is an excellent base for a variety of circuit rides, many on quiet country roads such as the Fosterton Loop. There are challenging mountain-bike trails in nearby State Forest. A little History
With the charms of Dungog, Paterson, Gresford, Gloucester and the history still visible, especially in Morpeth and with the skills of some of the famous Hunter Valley winemakers all a leasant drive away. Barrington Tops National Park - World Heritage Listed area. Mist shrouded ancient Antarctic Beech trees and evolution linked to the super-continent of Gondwana when Australia was severed from Africa, South America and Antarctica and started drifting north. Arguably, this was the single most influential natural event in Australia's history. Half of Australia's plant species, one-third of its mammals and birds and 23 endangered species of animals depend on this wilderness National Park.

Our 4 cedar cabins each offer a 2 person spa, log fire, air conditioner as well as ceiling fan, queen size bed (all linen is supplied), skylight, TV/DVD player. The cabins covered verandahs have a gas barbeque and are ideal for outdoor dining.
It offers a great chance to unwind, enjoy the great bush scenery and observe the wild life which is particulary abundant in bird species. The "Pretty Faced" wallabies may also check you out in the gardens surrounding the cabins.

If you enjoy cooking, your cabin has a well equipped kitchen.
Bring your fishing rod, tennis gear, golf clubs (golf course in nearby Dungog)Swimmers and beach towel and favourite DVD's and CD's.
Also bring sturdy walking shoes as there are lots of areas to visit to enjoy the scenery or go on a bush walk. Binoculars are useful to observe the wildlife.
There are historic towns within easy driving distance like timeless Morpeth, Stroud, Maitland, Paterson, and indeed Dungog.
There are 2 boutique wineries in Gresford, a pleasant drive away.
